Roaming Coordinator

This position is responsible for the accuracy of all inter-carrier billing as well as the testing of new Roaming Partners before launch.

The Roaming Coordinator will work closely with Carrier Services, Accounting, and Engineering during the launch of new carriers on our network. The Roaming Coordinator’s goals are to perform significant preventative maintenance through audits and testing in order to minimize over or under charges between carriers as well as to ensure accuracy of our data in our Roaming Partners’ networks & billing systems.

This position will also be responsible for updating our GSM Roaming Partners of network or billing changes to ensure customer satisfaction in all our coverage areas.

The Roaming Coordinator must be able to work with both technical and marketing personnel. Strong computer skills are necessary as daily and monthly reporting on many aspects of roaming data will be compiled and researched. Trouble shooting with various Roaming Partners will also require strong communication skills.

This position will be located in the Atlanta, GA office.

Responsibilities:

• Update billing tables as needed and ensure accuracy
• Maintain database of all markets and Roaming Partners for all technologies
• Ownership of all data record reconciliation for 1XRTT/EVDO
• Troubleshooting roaming issues with roaming partners
• Manage switch updates to ensure accuracy of Roaming Partners data
• Complete AA.14 updates and distribute as needed
• Complete IR.21 updates and distribute as needed
• Work with switch engineers to complete IREG and TADIG testing for new roaming partners
• Test and ensure billing accuracy of all Roaming Partners
• Perform reconciliations as needed with Roaming Partners
• Work with Accounting to research and resolve any unusual rate variances

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
• 3-year wireless industry experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
• Database experience
• Professional and effective oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects
