Network Operations Center Technician

The Network Operations Center Technician is responsible for monitoring Commnet Wireless’ cellular network remotely in our Castle Rock, CO location. The NOC technician works with two wireless technologies; GSM, and CDMA, using various industry standard software programs, along with proprietary software. NOC technicians also handle dispatching, troubleshooting, and resolving of various network wide issues. This position may require nights and weekends.

General Functions :

• Monitors cellular network using command line interface and GUI’s.
• Answers telephone calls from various field technicians and vendors.
• Dispatches telephone and power companies for troubleshooting and repair.
• Seeks out continuous training to improve skill set.
• Uses trouble ticketing system to alert company staff to outages and troubles.
  

Physical Requirements: No physical requirements.


Basic Qualifications :

• HS Diploma/GED equivalent.
• At least one year of experience working in a Windows based office setting.
• Middle level knowledge and comfort with Windows Office Suite.
• Prior telephony, cellular, or switching experience helpful but not necessary.
  

Compensation :

• Hourly pay range $10 - $12 per hour.
